Abstracts can be submitted for
  • Platform presentation
  • Poster presentation
Instructions for Scientific presentations
  • Both selection and placement decision by the secretary of SBSSI are final.
  • Presenting author must be registered for the conference at the time of abstract submission.
  • All abstracts must contain original work.
  • The acknowledgement letter from the Organizing Secretary is only a letter of receipt of paper and not an acceptance letter.
  • Acceptance letter will be sent separately from the Scientific Committee BY EMAIL
  • No member can make more than one platform presentation. Additional poster presentation may be considered.
Format for writing the abstract
  • The abstract should be written in English, typed in MS word format only, in Times New Roman Font size 12, and single space full justification and in 250 words.
  • The Title of paper should be concise in bold capital letters, size 12 and justified to the left.
  • The authors name should begin with full first name, middle initial and last name (the name of the presenting author should be underlined) in capital letters, size 12, normal and justified to the left.
  • Abstracts should follow the format of Aim, materials and methods, results and conclusion.
Poster presentation
  • The presenter must be available during the allotted time for presentation. Judging will be done at that time.
  • An area of 100 cm X 100 cm will be available for each presentation. Poster should be prepared in English and should be headed with title, name of author(s), institutions and place. Aims and objectives of the study, the result achieved and conclusions should be included in the poster.
  • Charts,drawing(s) and illustrations must have self explanatory titles.
  • In order to be legible from a distance of 2 meters, the letters should be at least 10 mm tall and lines should have a striking contrast. Poster should be made of lightweight material so that they can be mounted easily on a poster board. It is advisable for authors to bring their own material of choice to fix the poster.
